KOSH Center-Keystone Occupational Safety and Health Center

The Keystone Occupational Safety and Health Center is an OSHA Training Institute Education Center established in the spring of 2003 to serve the U.S. MidAtlantic region. The KOSH Center is a consortium of the University City Science Center in Philadelphia, PA and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) conducts short-term technical training in occupational safety and health through the OSHA Training Institute. In the early 1990’s OSHA began the program of using other training and educational institutions to conduct OSHA Training Institute courses for private sector personnel and for Federal personnel from agencies other than OSHA. These OTI Centers were selected through nationwide or regional competitions.
