      Job Description: Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking Safety Training Professionals to support our Harrisburg client base. These employees will work full-time for a large multi-location organization to support a major safety and health program improvement initiative.
      Required Skills: •Experience producing presentations, coordinating and/or managing projects, and planning/facilitating events, workshops or educational programs and the expertise using Microsoft Office required. The ability to collaborate and work independently. •Must be able to meet needs of internal and external client; act in a courteous, positive and responsive manner; plan proactively and anticipate potential issues, organize and prioritize work; multitask projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, follow through on assignments and open issues with attention to detail, effectively respond to a variety of situations, independently undertake steps to improve performance, find solutions to various administrative problems and resolve problems. •Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. •Experience using a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint software required. Use of any relevant online education software programs is a plus! • Collaborate with the Health and Safety managers on training program content. •Under the direction of the Health and Safety Manager, design and deliver core training courses •Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferably one (3) years of experience in a safety and health related position is ideal •Ideal candidate has BIG personality and engages audience during training. •Ideal candidate has well developed and engaging communication and presentation skills. •Ability to work in a team environment to assist human resources, safety coordinators and managers to improve safety and health programs across multiple worksites. •Ability to plan and organize multiple projects simultaneously to stay on target.

      Required Skills: •5-10 years of experience developing and delivering safety training, preferably in a manufacturing environment •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports •Ability to plan and organize initiatives to meet pre-determined target dates and deadlines •Experience with developing and writing safety programs and performing technical research •Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment with the flexibility to adapt to clients’ needs •Ability to analyze injury data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations •Demonstrated knowledge of health & safety regulations •Excellent customer service and follow-up skills •Local travel to client sites (approximately 70% + 15% overnight) is required •Applicable certifications (ASP, OHST, CHST, CSP) or eligibility to obtain these is a plus •Prior experience with health & safety consulting or insurance loss control is preferred
