      Required Skills: • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of property construction, occupancy, protection, and exposures as well as exposure and control analysis for standard commercial lines of business including business interruption, product liability, workers compensation and commercial vehicle • Demonstrates technical ability to identify and analyze complex hazards, propose and implement risk improvement strategies and influence customers to comply with recommendations • Proven track record of building strong business relationships with insureds, agents & brokers, industry associations and specialized service providers in order to enhance reputation and build brand in the territory • Demonstrates ability to serve as a collaborative expert with colleagues • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills • Able to produce thorough, timely, and precise written and verbal reports to all level of management, underwriting, and customers through effective time management practices • Strong skill in prioritization, organization and detail orientation • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment using multiple internal and external resources appropriately, effectively and efficiently • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software

Our client, Proform Powdered Metals of Punxsutawney, PA, is a quality leader of engineered powdered metal bearings, bushings and spacers for the automotive industry. OBJECTIVES: This position will develop and implement improved environmental, health and safety programs to support manufacturing operations ensuring that all practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. The position will be responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and their permitting applications as well as support the development and coordination of training programs. During the first few months of the position, the qualified candidate will: • Update the Company’s OSHA hazard awareness compliance program by developing and implementing updated Hazzard Communication training; updating MSDS paper and electronic files with GHS forms; and write GHS for company’s products • Develop an Emergency Evacuation Plan for the plant • Develop and implement a revised lock out/tag out program, and perform associated training TIMEFRAME: May 2015 through approximately August 2015.
