      Job Description: The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager provides leadership and advanced technical expertise for multiple Institute safety program elements.  The incumbent provides technical guidance and process control measures to ensure high level performance within the assigned portfolio.  Specific responsibilities include development of original SOPS and training elements, development of program goals, use of detailed process control tools, provides direct support of OES activities as needed and contributes to the development of department and Institute policies.  This position works very closely with the many members of the RPCI community including researchers, facility management staff and the rest of the OES department.
      Required Skills: Excellent communication skills are a must as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
      Required Education: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years professional work experience in a safety, compliance or a related capacity that includes responsibility for a program or process. The preferred candidate will have an advanced degree in a field closely related to Industrial Hygiene, current Certification as an Industrial Hygienist or eligibility for CIH certification; have experience managing a chemical hygiene plan and five or more years of professional experience in Industrial Hygiene.
