Cynthia J. Mellen, M.S., ALCM, CSP is a safety consultant with the PA/ OSHA Consultation Program at IUP. She holds a B. S. in Biology/ Chemistry from Albright College and a M.S. in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before joining the consultation program, she worked in for an environmental management company working in their industrial hygiene laboratories. Later she worked for Kemper National Insurance as a Loss Control Consultant. She has been working for the PA/ OSHA Consultation Program since 1994 and has been a member of both the ASSE and AIHA since 1989.
