Ackerman Hall houses the departments of Food and Nutrition, Hospitality Management, and Human Development and Environmental Studies. Ackerman Hall - Technology Lab Ackerman - Fashion Merchandising Johnson Hall - Nursing and Allied Health Professions, Safety Sciences Johnson Hall - NAHP Learning Lab Johnson Hall - Safety Sciences Lab Keith Hall houses the Industrial and Labor Relations Department. Zink Hall - Athletic Training
IUP has been listed in the top 25 wired schools in the nation. Students can take advantage of computer labs, networked and wireless connectivity, and technology-equipped classrooms. Hospitality Management majors and Food and Nutrition majors serve attractive and nutritious meals in the Allenwood in Ackerman Hall. Food and Nutrition majors preparing food. Fashion Merchandising students work on displays in lab. Ackerman Hall is the home of the HDES department and the CFS program. CFS majors go to the University Child Care Center to gain experience working with children. This Nursing student is hard at work in the Learning Lab. The lab is about to undergo a wonderful transformation into a cutting edge Simulation Laboratory with computerized manikins and tutorials that will help students develop their practical skills. Dr. Michele Gerwick, Chair of the Nursing and Allied Health Professions Department, confers with students after class. A Safety Sciences major works in the lab. Students in the Industrial and Labor Relations seminar room. Wilson Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus, will soon sport a new look and become the home of the Department of Criminology. A complete renovation is anticipated to be complete for Spring 2008. Criminology majors working with security equipment.
