Professional Interests
My professional interests include safety consulting and training, undergraduate safety curriculum research, and the use of technology in the classroom. In 2005, Dr. Chris Janciak and I jointly published a fire textbook entitled "Fundamentals of Fire Protection for the Safety Professional". My curriculum vitae is available for review.
Personal Interests
In my free time I enjoy hunting, motorcycling, my labrador retriever, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing a variety of sports, especially golf. Bow hunting is my favorite especially whitetail in PA but I have also taken elk in New Mexico, mule deer in Colorado and a black bear in Canada. When I get a chance in the summer I enjoy do-it-yourself projects around the home.
